Who We Are

Rosie

Rosie was born and raised on the east side of Indianapolis, Indiana in a large, blended family.  That's where her enjoyment of serving others started. Rosie loved spending time with her grandmothers in the kitchen making homemade food and preparing meals for others. Let’s not forget to mention the countless batches of knock you off your feet, Great Grandma by the water’s homemade daiquiris!

Rosie went on to become a Registered Nurse and spent 30 years in healthcare.  After almost 2 decades of assisting high risk, obstetrical patients throughout Indiana, an opportunity came about to pursue another avenue of serving others with her lifelong love of cooking, baking, grilling and smoking meats.

With Kay's desire for starting a business and Rosie's desire to cook and help others, they began this next adventure together.  This start- up blesses them with the opportunity to help care & assist their aging and medically challenging family members. Rosie and Kay are looking forward to meeting new people and supporting their local community and Indiana in other way besides healthcare. They are always open to feedback on their items. There is no suggestion too small. A suggestion or any input from our customers is what will send the recipe over the edge and make it even better.

For those who began this adventure with us back in 2019, we are very appreciative of your support and we look forward to growing together.

How We Started

Prep N Go is a mother and daughter entrepreneurship that developed out of a love for food and desire to prepare it for others.  Prep N Go launched as a side gig helping friends and family prepare lunches as it is so hard to cook for one person. Word quickly grew and we discovered there was a huge need in the food market for homemade, healthy prepared food that is easily heated for busy lifestyles. Our focus is on healthier meal options for those on the go or want a break from cooking while using as many approved independent Indiana growers and producers as possible.  We provide individual breakfast, lunch entrees, snacks, and desserts while also providing family sized dinners. We want to do the work for others so that they can enjoy homecooked meals.

Prep N Go knows how hectic party planning can be and wants to take the stress away by offering Event Catering menus and options.

How It Works

Eating the same thing all the time is pretty boring.  At Prep N Go, a different menu is developed each week that will be posted on Tuesdays. Orders will be submitted by 5pm on Wednesdays. Ingredients are purchased weekly so that they are as fresh as possible with most of the preparation happens on Sundays. Sunday evenings and Monday mornings will have delivery routes to designated spots that will allow community members to pick up their food at a location close to home.

To order select your location and pickup time, select your items, place in cart, select payment method.

Where We Are Going

As we grow, we have many ideas of how to make the busy lifestyle easier when it comes to meals and snacks. In the future, you can expect more hot and ready, grab and go meals prepared fresh each day. We are striving to open a store front and partner with other local entrepreneurs to provide a one stop spot for honeys, jams, salsa, and other Indiana produced items. Make sure to follow our social media pages to stay up to date as we progress and offer more options for the community.
